A dental implant is a fixed prosthetic device, used to cover the space left free by one or more missing or extracted teeth. The dental implant allows the replacement of one or more lost dental elements with titanium “artificial roots” which, through a biological process called osseointegration, allows the application of a fixed prosthesis.
\nThe installation of a dental implant is a full-fledged surgery, which generally involves local anesthesia and modest sedation. As with any surgery, there is a certain risk of complications.

\nPure titanium is perfectly tolerated by the human body and does not cause rejection or allergic reactions of any kind, and is one of the most resistant materials ever.
\nThanks to its characteristics, pure titanium finds a wide application in the medical field for rehabilitations of various kinds, and is used on a large scale in the dental field.
\nDental implantology consists in the application of small pure titanium screws. These titanium screws are engineering masterpieces that vary in the design of the thread, with a wide or narrow thread depending on the seat in which they will be inserted, in the shape, cylindrical or slightly curved, and in the dimensions, from 3 to 6 millimeters in diameter, from 6 to 18 millimeters in length.
