Video Surveillance Policy (CCTV)

The video surveillance policy of Elite Dental shpk is fully compliant with Law No. 124/2024 “On the Protection of Personal Data”, as amended by Law No. 19/2016 “On Additional Public Security Measures”, as well as the guidelines approved by the Commissioner No. 46, dated 26.03.2017.

Purpose of the System

The installation of the camera system and the processing of personal data through this system are in accordance with the purposes established by law and the legitimate interests of Elite Dental shpk as a private, non-public healthcare institution.

Data Processing

Personal data processed through the video surveillance system, directly or indirectly, are handled in compliance with Article 14 of Law No. 124/2024. The system must not interfere with or violate the privacy of clients, medical/administrative staff, or other individuals.

Use of Recordings

Recordings may be used exclusively to investigate events that have caused damage to property or interests protected by law. The use of data for other purposes is allowed only for a relevant public interest.

Camera Placement

Cameras are installed at entry/exit doors, above cash registers, and inside treatment rooms. Information signs are present in these areas to ensure transparency towards individuals.

Limitations

• Surveillance is prohibited in private areas such as changing rooms, staff offices, or healthcare spaces.
• Cameras only record areas relevant to the purpose of video surveillance.
• Data is retained for 30 days and automatically destroyed at the end of this period.

Data Subject Rights

Every individual has the right to access, modify, or delete their personal data. Requests must be submitted in writing to the authorized personnel of Elite Dental shpk.

If privacy violations occur through the CCTV system, individuals may object to the processing in accordance with Article 15 of the law “On the Protection of Personal Data”.

System Responsible

By order of the owner of Elite Dental shpk, Ms. Etleva Dema, dated 30.09.2025, the person authorized to access and manage the video surveillance system is Ms. Etleva Dema, administrator of the clinic.
